Requirements

What European universities usually ask for

Academic documents

  • 10th and 12th standard marksheets and certificates
  • Bachelor's transcripts and degree certificate (for master's)
  • Consolidated marksheet with grading scale explanation
  • Medium of instruction letter where accepted
  • Credential evaluation or APS certificate where required

Supporting documents

  • Statement of purpose or motivation letter
  • Two academic or professional recommendation letters
  • Academic CV in European format
  • English proficiency score β€” IELTS, PTE, TOEFL or Duolingo
  • Passport copy, photographs and portfolio for design courses
Country systems

Where applications are actually submitted

Germanyuni-assist for most public universities, or direct portals. APS certificate required for Indian students.
FranceCampus France 'Γ‰tudes en France' procedure, then university or school admission.
NetherlandsStudielink national portal plus each university's own application system.
ItalyUniversitaly pre-enrolment followed by university admission and Declaration of Value.
IrelandDirect university applications, or PAC for some postgraduate courses.
Spain, Poland, Sweden, FinlandNational portals or direct university applications depending on the institution.
